KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Sept. 30, 2019) – Central Missouri Jennies junior setter Ally Offerdahl helped UCM to a pair of MIAA wins last weekend, defeating both Missouri Southern and Pittsburg State 3-0 on the road. Offerdahl made her presence felt all over the court and was named this week’s MIAA Volleyball Specialist of the Week.
For the week, Offerdahl averaged 12.50 assists per set, dishing out 75 in just six sets. The Jennies landed kills on more than 40% of her set attempts and hit .287 for the week. Offerdahl also helped out scoring nine kills and a block. She averaged 2.50 digs as well, picking up 15 opponent attacks.
For the junior from Prairie Village, Kan. this is her seventh career MIAA Player of the Week award and first this season. She earned four in 2018 and two in 2017.
Offerdahl is now up to third in the MIAA in assists per set with 10.52 and is second with 522 total assists.
The Jennies play three times this week starting with a nonconference road match at William Jewell Tuesday, Oct. 1. They then return home and continue MIAA play Friday and Saturday against Nebraska-Kearney and Fort Hays State.
